I was wondering what programs do you use to cut and mix your songs/beats? Windows? Linux? Mac? Or is it a mix of them all?

I have been toying with some open source Linux sound editing and mixing programs.

I can't rap, but I wanted to make cool mello beats with some Big Lebowski sounds and or actual dialog from the film mixed together.

Have you ever played The Empire Strikes Back for SNES? In that game, when you die the grinning face of Emperor Palpatine floats on the screen against a field of stars. And he's laughing, but his laugh sounds just like Barney Rubble's. My brother and I took to calling him Emperor Rubble.
